Ways to Overcome Current EV Charging Challenges

California, the state with the highest number of EVs, also has the most significant demand for charging infrastructure. Consumer Affairs reports that with over 49,000 DCFC (Direct Current Fast Charging) stations, California leads the nation but still faces challenges due to its high number of EVs per port. Taking into consideration EV growth projections, by 2030 we would need 20 times more chargers than we have now (McKinsey).
One of the key challenges in EV infrastructure is the quality and reliability of EV charging infrastructure. A recent study found 25% of public EV chargers to be unusable due to broken connectors, network failures, payment system failures and unresponsive screens (The EV Report). Surveys show that these issues are a major concern for EV drivers (Spectrum News). Pitpalazzo will tackle this issue by maintaining high standards of upkeep and ensuring that all charging stations are operational and efficient.
